OpenBarista Founding Member Prize Draw — Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

  1. Sponsor: [legal entity name — to be completed], [postal address — to be completed] (“OpenBarista”).
  2. Eligibility: Legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., 18 or older at entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate families are not eligible.
  3. Entry period: Begins 12:00 a.m. ET on November 6, 2026 and ends 11:59 p.m. ET on December 4, 2026.
  4. How to enter: Complete the quiz at openbarista.io/quiz, submit your email address, and confirm it by clicking the link we send. Alternative method of entry: email prize@openbarista.io with the subject “Prize draw” and your name, and confirm the email we send back; same odds. Limit one entry per person and per email address. Hearts given to roasters do not affect odds.
  5. Prize: One (1) prize: a three-month coffee subscription from a Florida roaster that earned “Community Favorite 2026”, chosen by the winner from the list of Community Favorites, provided and paid for by OpenBarista, whether or not that roaster is on the OpenBarista platform. Approximate retail value (ARV): up to US $90. If no roaster earns the title or none can fulfill, OpenBarista will substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Not transferable; no cash alternative.
  6. Drawing: On or about December 7, 2026, OpenBarista will randomly select one winner from all eligible confirmed entries. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  7. Winner notification: By email within 7 days of the drawing. The winner must reply within 14 days or an alternate winner may be drawn.
  8. Taxes: The winner is responsible for any taxes.
  9. Privacy: Entries are handled under our Privacy Policy (openbarista.io/legal/privacy).
  10. General: By entering, you agree to these rules. OpenBarista may cancel or modify the draw if fraud or technical failure compromises it. Florida law governs.
  11. Winner’s name: Available after December 31, 2026 by emailing prize@openbarista.io.
